Joint ColegauCymru & WJEC Welsh Baccalaureate events March 2017

Following on from the WB training sessions delivered in November 2016, ColegauCymru and WJEC are holding further collaborative events in March 2017 to support the delivery, assessment and effective quality assurance of the Welsh Baccalaureate.

There will be four regional events and it is important that the key Welsh Baccalaureate staff attend. Ideally, from each college this would be the WB Co-ordinator or Manager and individuals with a lead IQA role (up to a maximum of four attendees per college) who will cascade the event information on to colleagues. One person from each college should be the member of staff who is working with e-portfolio.

Please feel free to pass on this information to relevant colleagues who might be interested in attending this free training event.

NB Each college has been asked to forward to ColegauCymru by 1st March one piece of WB marked work (suitably anonymised). Find out what type of work your own college has been asked to submit here: http://bit.ly/2kdzmWo. This work will be the focus of reviewing and discussing assessment outcomes with colleagues in small groups as a cross moderation exercise. For more information please contact:
